It seems naturally to follow up the last article – MAX 70, and continue with the MAX 80, held some years later. This time, as the tittle describes, we had the pleasure to watch the middleweight fighters of Europe go up against each other. Like 2011, a very competent women division – even harder competed i an Open-weight category. Once again the Tomasz Basiak Shinkyokushin Team held a fully professional event!
Back in 2011, a highly professional tournament was held i Poland. Mazovia MAX 70, was i lightweight tournament with some of the best fighters in Europe. In the women division it was no limit regarding to the weight – so in that case we had an open-weight tournament. In both categories men and women, 1500 USD was the top prize!
Since 1995 the Branko Bošnjak Memorial has been “something else” Out from the perspective that almost every tournament are made for “one purpose only”, to appoint the best fighter. A tournament with a deeper meaning will for sure also give a deeper meaning. Results from the start – and up to now, women and men’s categories..
We have tried to collect all results from the World championship in weight categories, or World Cup as many of us still call it. The results itself are of interest, but a another thing is when one goes trough the history of the event itself – and how it has developed from 1997 and up to now. The 3rd edition of the European Fullcontact Karate Organisation Camp will be held in Romania this time, Sibiu, Romania. As previous editions, the camp have a prominent line up of high profiled instructors, and naturally Romania are strongly represented by they very best. 5th – 7th June, 2020.
10th – 12th of April, the 37th edition of the Swedish Easter camp will be held, in Östersund, Sweden. A highly eminent instructor panel are ready to welcome all to a traditional Kyokushin camp. Trough the years the camp has attracted participants from Europe, USA and even had guest from Japan.
Helgen 28/2 – 1/3 deltok NKO på den årlige internasjonale fight camp i Danmark. NKO har i over ti år vært deltagere på denne leiren, og leiren hadde i år 20 års jubileum! Leiren har verdensmestere og europamestere på plass, og nivået er meget godt – langt over hva man kan nå i Norge – og er man utøver, spesielt internasjonal – da er man her!
Den Rumenske fightcamp, eller vinterleiren er en av de aller sterkeste camp’s av dette formatet man har i Europa. Her er hele linjen på øverste nivå – fra instruktører til deltagere. Geografisk ligger også Romania midt i smørøye når det kommer til å få besøk av toppen i Europa. For uten Romania,så har man Ungarn og Bulgaria – som i år også stod for instruksjon. NKO sin representant var Marleen Gregusson.
With abut two month to the European Championship Shinkyokushin 2020, Georgia, Tbilisi,and with the participants beginning to enter – we can registrar something interesting. Fighters from other organisations than the WKO/EKO are signing up – trough their country and their qualifying tournaments.
