Om ikke lenge er det klart for Trømsø Karateklubb sin årige sommerleir. Sett historisk er denne sommerleiren en historie for seg. Leiren har 35 års jubileum i år! Og da snakker man om at Tromsø KK har arrangert sommerleir trettifem år på rad! Denne leiren var også den leiren i Norge som først kanne varte opp med Japanske instruktører, noe som har blitt en tradisjon som ivaretas. Årets topp instruktør : Jiyuu Shibata Shihan, Japan.

Samling region Øst – NKO
Lørdag 2. mai var det klart for region samling på Færder. Til tross for at det var langhelg og noen bortreiste Katatekas, stilte nesten 50 utøvere opp denne lørdagen. Innholdet for samlingen var kamp, men i et bredere felt enn hva konkurranse fighting er. Målet om å få en generelt bedre forståelse for “kamp faget” har kommet godt i gang, og mer er på veg..

The 2nd JFKO All Japan Weight Category Tournament
23 and 24th of May, will the 2nd addition of the Japan Fullcontact Karate Organization JFKO been held. The first edition was a huge success, bringing together some of the best Fullcontact fighters of Japan. This years tournament will not stand back for last years tournament, the number of fighters and the record they have are at the highest level we can find.

Gjør deg klar for årests sommerleri på Moi! Man slår nok en en gang på “stortromma” når det inviteres til sommerleir i NKO sin regi. Shihan Howard Collins stor som hovedinstruktør og det sammen med Shihan Hakan Nygren. Disse to besitter hver for seg mer kompetane enn hva man kan ane, og det på alle felt man måtte ønske! Det å få trene under noen som faktisk har levd med Sosai Oyama, og ikke trent men studert Kyokushin Karate – ja det er noe for seg selv!

EC 2015 – Best ever?
This year European Championship was without a doubt a great success. And in several ways did this EC manage to be good. The part of organizing was good, information, arena LIVE stream and all the work we not see at the day of the tournament. This year’s participation was also very good. Variety and number of countries / practitioners have rarely been better. Many struggle with the number of poor divisions, while WKO seems to increase. This also increases the standards of those participating in the tournament.

Jente og damesamling 19.April
Søndag 19.April var det klart for jente og damesamling på Ringerike. Her samles man og utveksler erfaringer, trener og legger fokus etter det man ønsker. Dette lyder kjent, men man ivaretar jenter og dame utøvere i et til tider mannsdomminert Karatemiljø. Samlingene vokser og vokser, og det er ingen tvil om at den sosiale faktoren som det fokuseres på er treffende!
