Etter et aktivt 2015 med deltagelse i Scottish Open, French Open og Danish Open, er det ingen grunn til å bremse – og det gjøres det ikke heller! Med på lasset skal vi også nevne VM i Japan som Norge/Nko deltok på, og selvsagt er det også flere norske turneringer som ble besøkt. Planer for 2016 er for lengst i gang, og flere er allerede påmedlt i Scottish Open for 2016..

Teen Challenge 2016
Teen Challenge i Horten har i flere år vært et totalt tilbud for den yngre garde. Horten Karateklubb har jobbet opp turneringen med flere elementer, som gjør at turneringen er et “must” å delta på for unge håpefulle som vil konkurrere i fullkontakt karate. I tillegg til kamp har man også kjørt Kata. Turneringen har hatt erfaren og ikke erfaren klasser, samt klasse for de over 18 år – U22.Teen Challenge har også en sterk link til Sverige og danmark, og dette gjør at nivået i noen av de erfarne klassen ligger godt over NM. Dette gjør sitt til at turneringen som fungerer som en portal ut til internasjonal fighting.
