Austrian Open 2015 – results

Plakat_A_2015Same weekend as the French Open, but on Sunday the 14th of June, Austrian Open was arranged. Top nations as Hungary, Poland and Georgia was at the line up, and this was also the same nations who entered the podium. Georgian fighters have been very active this spring, and from European Championship (EC) Shinkyokushin i Poland, to EC Royama in Germany and now at last Austrian Open. Graderinger i Region Øst

Som en naturlig avslutning i terminen er det graderinger som blir det siste man gjør i klubben – som regel. Slik har det vært i Region Øst og Fredriksdad, Horten, Færder og Ringerike har avholdt graderinger, og om alltid er det massivt sammen arbeid når det kommer til avvikling og “sparringshjelp”

8th French Open – results

french_open2015 – Kopi8th French Open was held this weekend, and we will take a look at some quick results. The tournament had a great mix of fighters from different countries and organizations. The favorites did their job as expected, and looking at the top fighters we can see that the level of the tournament are very good. Lithuania and Sweden made once again a big impression. Also a thing to notice was that some of the well known fighters had changed weight class since last time the fought.

This weekend a training seminar in Hungary was organized. Hungary for its part is also a nation with many very good fighters, and the seminar organized by Sensei József Stefanovic, tells that also Hungary stands for top level. If this not to impress you, was also Romania  attended and with several of their best fighters, with among others Marius Ilas Sensei…!

Khasai Magomedov, Russia

Khasai MagomedovKhasai Magomedov continues to impress everyone by recently winning the European Championship in lightweight, organized by Kyokushin-Kan- Royama. He is also one of the best Russian fighters in the lightweight category, and it brings him up on a high level. Performed well in 2014, 2nd place in the Russian Open Weight Championship and 3rd place in Mas Oyama memorial. This was a good following up from 2013, when he became the Russian lightweight champion for the first time, and runner up in the SHINKUOKUSHINKAI KARATE 30th All Tohoku Tournament.

Trough the last weeks several European Championship in Full Contact karate Kyokushin has been held. Organized by different organizations to crown their best European fighter.We will take a look at the finals of some of the EC`s that have been held.

2nd All Japan Weight Tournament JFKO – VIDEOS

The 2nd All Japan weight tournament, organized by Japan Full-contact Karate Organization  JFKO was held 23 & 24 May 2015. Some of the best fighters of Japan meet in this 2nd addition to decide who is the best.
