4 years – did we achieved our goals?

11th_champs_women – Kopi – KopiOne week after the 11th Shinkyokushinkai World Tournament, and we slowly starts to take in all the impressions that we got during one of the largest full contact events one can attend. The tournament as also known to be the last for some of the greatest profiles we have, and in a another direction we also got prominent guest and fighters from the KWU and JFKO. With others words many cases one could talk a great deal about.  But we are going to take a little dive into the tournament – of course!

Shinkyokushin VM – norske øyne!

2015_VM_TorSå var fire år gått, og det var altså klart for et nytt VM i Japan, Tokyo. Denne fire års syklusen følger den syklus fra når det ble avhold VM for første gang under Sosai Oyama sin tid. At det er fire år i mellom, ala OL gjør også at status for dette VM ligger skyhøyt, noe som er et poeng siden det nå er VM på “hvert et gatehjørne” Norges deltagelse var i år på to mann, og det har blitt jobbet administrativt for å få denne ene tilleggsplassen – mot vår faste ene plass. Det er også slik at her kan man ikke “bli med om man har lyst” her er det lange prossedyrer i forkant om å få med deltagere. Tor Andrè Kvinge /Bergen kk og Kristian Søyland / Egersund var de to som skulle delta for Norge. Og med Russland og Ukraina i møte så..

Day two and three in Ochanomizu Dojo

2015SunakawaSenseiThis day we had the joy of two training’s in Ochannomizu Dojo. First set was a mixed training with mostly focus on basic ,led by Kumiko Sunakawa Sensei. The second training was held by Misuhoro Izumi Sempai, a training in great variations and wisdom. -and stamina fight training.

Third day (Thursday) Full house again! Sweden, Norway and Japan in good training and a great mood! Sunakawa Sensei brought us Kihon, Kumite and Kata!

A visit to Ochanomizu Dojo, Japan!

2015_JapanIITop class instructor Kumiko Sunakawa Sensei, teaching Shinkyokushin Karate in Ochannomizu Dojo, Japan. Several Karatekas from overseas train Karate during their stay these days, not only waiting for the World Championship.

U22 / U16 European Championship – last week of registration!

U22_2015dThe U22 / U16 European Championship held in Poland 27-28 November is only a month away, ant the registration date is the 30. October – one week from now.

At the time this tournament are growing in the shadow of the upcoming World Tournament, but many countries do have the teams registered all ready!

Norge ↔ Sverige, samarbeid i Nord!

Shn_northSverige har de siste år betydd meget for Norge de siste år innen utvikling av Kyokushin Karate. Ikke bare har man kunne nyte godt av å få høyprofilerte instruktører til sommerleire og andre samlinger, man har også fått flere gode utvekslinger på tvers av landene på generelt nivå.

Siste skudd på denne stammen er i nord hvor Finnsnes Karateklubb har kommet i kontakt med IF Kiruna Karate Kai

Athletes are doing their last preparations, and they deal with a almost inhuman pressure every day towards the championship. And not to mention when the day has come,at the World Championship. NNM 2015 – Tromsø

nmm2015 – KopiMed 40 års jubileum i ryggen, loste Tromsø karateklubb i havn tidenes største Nord Norske Mesterskap med 87 deltagere! Samtlige opperative klubber i nord var med, og bare det i seg selv er enormt bra!

Man har sett at det har vært en oppsving de siste år i nord, og dette er et godt bevis på at jevn og langsiktig jobbing gir resultater. Resulteter fra NNM følger..
