Around Europe different Shinkyokushin national teams er doing their last preparations. European Championship will be the goal this year, and some factor will play a roll this year taking the new weight categories among others.
Poland did their best EC last year, with good help fighting on home soil. After what we can see, the Polish team are also ready this year..
Once again The Swiss Ope Juniors attracts “full house” to the tournament. About 300 Juniors are ready for Swiss Open, to compete in Kata and fight. 15 countries support the tournament with almost 50 different Dojo`s.
Sweden, Poland, Denmark and of course Norway attended in the tournament. The tournament had fighters from different Dojo`s, organisations and styles.
14 years in a row, the Danish Fight Camp do have some serious history too look back at. Thus year the camp gathered 110 fighters from Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands and of course Denmark.Several organisations and styles was in Copenhagen 9-10th April 2016.

Den årlige kampsamlingen i Danmark er vel kjent for norske utøvere, og har blitt avholdt ikke mindre enn 16 år på rad. Her her verdens beste fighters stått og instruert for de nordiske kamp utøverene. Valeri Dimitrov, Kenta Mori, Tadashi Ishihara, Denis Grigoriev og Brian Jakobsen er noen. Norge har ikke vært tungt representert men har som regel hatt en liten gjeng på plass – slik som i år.

For the 3rd time the “new” All Japan Open will be held. The JFKO All Japan Weight Category Tournament replaced the Shinkyokushin All Japan Weight tournament and welcomed other styles and organisation with the aim of gaining full contact Karate a place in the Olympics. Some of the very best fighters of Japan will meet for the third time to crown the champions…
Several of the top fighters of Japan are in the line up, two times winner Kazuya Yamamoto (super heavy weight), Yuki Maeda – also double winner in the middleweight. ..
