Inga Mikštaitė, Lithuania One of most decorated (if not the most decorated) active fighter in Europa. Mikštaitė has been the superior fighter in the middleweight division, and holds 6 European Championship titles (WKO) and added one more recently in the KWU EC. Also at the world stage do she have records, 3rd World Cup 2009 and 4th in the World Championship 2011. Also one 2nd and two 3rd places in the Open Weight EC. Technical very good all rounded, and more than one time sharp techniques has ended her fights before full time. Tactical, various paced fighting good stamina – all that a top fighter need.

Like the “Spirit Award” these awards will be given regardless if you win the tournament or not. To be given these awards in a world championship, really point out a extraordinary fighter. NNM Nord Norsk Mesterskap 2016
Flere av høstens datoer er satt, og en av dem er for det Nord Norske Mesterskapet. I år er det Vadsø Karate Klubb som er arrangør. Vadø kk overtar stafettpinnen fra Tromsø Karateklubb som var arrangør sist år, som også var i anleding Tromsø karateklubb sitt 40 års jubileum. 2015 bød på rekord stor oppslutning i Nord.
Kyokushin Open Norway 2017
Organized by the oldest Kyokushin Dojo in Norway, Bergen The Kyokushin Open have a great history of international fighting. Last year Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway attended the tournament, several organisations, styles and independent full contact practitioners joined.

Scottish Open 2017
This years Scottish Open was fully booked almost two months before the tournament date, and many fighter had to wait for next chance…. well now the chance is back! The 2017 Scottish Open Knockdown championships will be held on the 25th February in Glasgow.
This is open to all styles and associations with Novice, Open and over 40’s categories….

Japanese team ready for The 6th World Championship 2017
Kazakhstan, Astana 2017, 1-2 July, The 6th World Championship weight categories will be held, and once again the best fighters from each region will fight to be the best in their weight class in the world. For the first time during the The World Championship weight categories (former known as the World Cup) it will be new weight categories, the same used in the European Championship, and of course in the The JFKO All Japan Weight Category Tournament.

Swedish Open 2016 – fighters!
Swedish Open 24th September, Goteborg, Sweden. At this moment, the number of fighters in the heavy weigh category has reach 50% of it`s capacity! Countries as Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden in the line up, and on regular basis several more will come..
Swedish Open was first held in 2006, and from that every other year. Fighters from all over Europe – and also from Japan suported! Strong nations as Lithuania, Hungary, Poland tells us about the high level. This is a tournament fighters want to go back to. Sweden as a Kyokushin nation are ready for us all – are we?!
Endring i knockoutforskriften?
Idretter med “Knock-out” til hodet er og har vært et helt eget tema i Norge. Den siste tid har det vært stor pågang fra Bokse Norge, og da aller mest fra NPBF, Norges Profesjonelle Bokse Forbund.Det var en milepæl ved sist “justering” når hjelmen forsvant, denne gangen er det videre endringer som gjør at man på generell basis vil nærme seg internasjonalt regelverk.
Fra NPBF har man etterlyst svar, og kultudepartemantet sender nå følgende forslag på høring…..

Szabó has been one of the stable practitioners in the lighter divisions. Possesses that many misses in that division, sharp techniques that ends in Wazari or Ippon Some merits: EC 3rd 2013/14, EC 2nd 2015 and 1st 2016. Branko Memorial champion 2015/14/13, Winning the Austrian Open +best fighter 2015, 2nd Mas Oyama Memorial 2014. Also showed great skill going up against bigger opponents, and given them technical challenges that many could not match.
