The 4th Camp Banzai, Goteborg, Sweden, was held 17th – 19th August, and once again the camp became an unforgettable event. The eminent organizer had brought in “The “Bulgarian Top team” Valeri Dimitrov and Dimitar Trampov Sensei’s. The camp gathered participants from Denmark, Norway and Sweden of course.

The All Japan Open – a legendary tournament at the highest level. This year we can look forward to the 50 edition! The tournament will be held the 13th and 14th October. The open weight tournament has been a good pointer for whom fighter that will be in the absolute top in the World Championship..!
The 7th edition of Swedish Open will be held this September, and for sure the this is a “must go” event! All that has been at this tournament know the very high standard in total.
Remember it is three categories for men and two for women – and note: ONLY 16 fighters limits in each category, held every other year – so if you`r to late it will be two years to the next time. We know that signing up has begun, and besides that Sweden got their own top fighters the tournament will have top European fighting standard!!

This is the most attractive period regarding to summer-camps across Europe. Some have all ready held their camp, some right now – and of course it is also camps to comme. The support of the summer-camps has been huge! What is it that triggers so many to participate? We have picked up some feed back, and as always one could say, it`s not one main factor, but several that makes it so attractive…
The practical use of Karate has and will always be discussed. And this topic will naturally be a case outside, as well as inside the Karate family. In the summer we do often see a lot of festivals and shows, where musicians and bands entertain huge crowds of people. This will be our first stop to collect some exemplars of the practical use of the elements of karate. It is all about finding the summer rhythm..
Shinkyokushin Kazakhstan organized the 6th World Championship in weight categories a year ago. Not only organizing a great event, they did also enter the podium with many of their top fighters. This summer some of their fighters competed in the Asian Open Championship 2018 – and once again…

Knock out collections are often seen on youtube, and there are knock outs here too. But one feels that there are also many clips that contain the essence that one seeks in the execution of a technique. Accuracy, timing, speed, power. And perhaps what should impress most: the effectiveness of a properly executed technique that is not performed spectacularly with jumps, scrolls and acrobatic touches.
