Yesterday (Saturday 11.November) we witness the up and coming generation of Full Contact karate Shinkyokushin fighters in their way to reach the European Championship podium. This is always of big interest, but this time maybe even more than usual. We know than many of the biggest profiles among the established fighters are out, retired, and who ill takes their place?

The 34th Tohoku Karate Tournament
The 5th November The 34th Tohoku Karate Tournament was held, Organized by the Fukushima Branch. Making it three in a row, the 8th World Champion Kunihiro Suzuki once again takes the title – as Naoki Hashimoto also repeat his results from last year, being the runner up. Another popular feature was a demo with two former top fighters and performers: Emi Shoguchi and Kumiko Sunakawa.

Northern Camp 2017 Sweden
In the Northern Sweden, December 1-3rd the annual traditional Northern Camp will be arranged by Skellefteå Kyokushin Karat. Some of the most legendary instructors we have will be share their unique experience and knowledge of Kyokushinkai Karate : Howard Collins Shihan 8th Dan and Cyril Andrews Shihan 6th Dan.. Polish Open weight Championship 2017
Three of the top European players from Poland made another strong effort this weekend by winning the Polish National Open weight Agata Winiarska (Kaliciak) women category, Maciek Mazur in the men`s category. And last but not least Konrad Kozubowski Kata champion.

Denne helgen er det igjen klart for et høyprofilert proffbokserstevne i Norge. Med en stupende interesse for hovedattraksjonen, Cecilia Brækhus, har meningene kommet tydeligere og tydeligere frem: nå er det knock. Det handler om en industri som gjør alt hva man kan for å selge sine produkt, hvor apparat og utøvere forandrer sin adferd ettersom salget skal økes. Har man et sterkt produkt grunnfestet vil man ha mindre behov – og det motsatte..
49th All Japan videos!
A very strong All Japan Open was held 14-15 October, Tokyo, Japan. The best fighters from the land of the rising sun met on the tatemi to battle for the tittle. The tournament did also have several “outside entries” with some of the best fighters from Poland attended. Yuji Shimamoto. Kenbu Iriki, Daiki Kato, Kazuya Yamamoto, to name some of the fighters..!

Høstleir på Finnsnes – høstferien er over!
Som et fast innslag har høstleiren på Finnesnes funnet seg til rette på kalenderen. Fast i forkant av Nord Norskt Mesterskap, som en liten oppkvikkende oppkjøring. Når det er sagt, så er det en leir som først og fremst skal samle folket i region Nord til et gitt dato, så man vet på “gammel” vane hvordan terminen ser for seg ift planlegging. Tromsø, Sør-Varanger, Ringerike og selvsagt Finnsnes var på plass under årets leir.
22nd BRANKO BOŠNJAK MEMORIAL – Winners from multiply nations crowned
Saturday 14th October the 22nd BRANKO BOŠNJAK MEMORIAL was held, and as always did the tournament live to its expectations. After at day with many great fights, the results was ready and it is fair to say that it was a results spread out over many nations. Hungary made a very strong impression, being the nation with most wins. A another nation did also made a strong impression – France. Winning two categories and also taking best fighting spirit award women by Camille Haddouche.
