I morgen er det klart for den 7. utgaven av Swedish Open. Turneringen avholdes annenhvert år, som et sammenarbeid med Danish Open som går motsatt år. Norge har de siste år vært fast innventar i Swedish – og det skulle bare mangle når man ser hvordan svenske utøvere i en årrekke har støtte norske arrangement. Vi tar en liten kikk på de norske utøvere og litt på årets turnering.
Swedish Open avholdes i Göteborg, og er den mest proffesjonelle turneringen i nærheten av Norge.
Fighting for over thirty year, and fighting among the top level for so long – that alone will put Trampov in a “division” for himself. Being on the European podium more or less in a ten year period, facing the absolute best – well that has been written before, but still going strong thirty year after? To be capable of doing so, one do realize that this is beyond the ordinary. Technique, understanding, and a true spirit. Making a strong figure in World Championships, being the oldest competitor in 2015 – passes his 4th Dan test few days after.
Closing in to the last part of the registration, Swedish Open shapes nicely up. Several countries with merited fighters are all ready in the line up, and usually some late registration will happen in towards the deadline. No doubt that this will be a tournament where fighters will meet their challenges..
This year, as last year International autumn camp will be held in Northern Sweden, Skellefteå. Last years camp was a great success, and the recipe for that was a mix of good organizing from Guldstaden Kyokushin Karate. In the lead of Oualid Burström Sensei and Hanna Lundmark Sempai and good helpers from the Dojo. And not to forget the “most wanted” Romanian masterclass with Marius Ilas Sensei, Anca Wallmen Shihan and Harris Wallmen Sensei..

The Polish Federation Karate Shinkyokushinkai held their annual summer camp, 29/8 – 1/9, Zakopane. Highly regarded instructors from Canada and Japan, respectively. And not to forget Poland’s own top line of instructors. Andre Gilbert Shihan, Canada and Kenta Mori, Japan – just the two names gives Karatekas a good reason to join in!
Today 1st September, the legendary European Open Szolnok Cup are being held in Hungary. The tournament are not profiled like one are used to see, but with the history of quality one knows that many of the very best fighters will attend. The 4th Camp Banzai, Goteborg, Sweden, was held 17th – 19th August, and once again the camp became an unforgettable event. The eminent organizer had brought in “The “Bulgarian Top team” Valeri Dimitrov and Dimitar Trampov Sensei’s. The camp gathered participants from Denmark, Norway and Sweden of course.

The All Japan Open – a legendary tournament at the highest level. This year we can look forward to the 50 edition! The tournament will be held the 13th and 14th October. The open weight tournament has been a good pointer for whom fighter that will be in the absolute top in the World Championship..!
The 7th edition of Swedish Open will be held this September, and for sure the this is a “must go” event! All that has been at this tournament know the very high standard in total.
Remember it is three categories for men and two for women – and note: ONLY 16 fighters limits in each category, held every other year – so if you`r to late it will be two years to the next time. We know that signing up has begun, and besides that Sweden got their own top fighters the tournament will have top European fighting standard!!
