23 and 24th of May, will the 2nd addition of the Japan Fullcontact Karate Organization JFKO been held. The first edition was a huge success, bringing together some of the best Fullcontact fighters of Japan. This years tournament will not stand back for last years tournament, the number of fighters and the record they have are at the highest level we can find.

NKO Sommerleir 2015
Gjør deg klar for årests sommerleri på Moi! Man slår nok en en gang på “stortromma” når det inviteres til sommerleir i NKO sin regi. Shihan Howard Collins stor som hovedinstruktør og det sammen med Shihan Hakan Nygren. Disse to besitter hver for seg mer kompetane enn hva man kan ane, og det på alle felt man måtte ønske! Det å få trene under noen som faktisk har levd med Sosai Oyama, og ikke trent men studert Kyokushin Karate – ja det er noe for seg selv!

Winning the middleweight, Marius Ilas, Romania added another Championship victory to his record. How was his journey from the first fight to the last? We will take a look at videos from his fights. His unique style of fighting has been a “hot potato” and the discussion are going back and forth about this, but there is no doubt – none have managed to slow him, or cause significant damage or defeat him this time. Not this time either! If you can not slow down your opponent, you can not cause any significant damage – then you will be defeated …

This year European Championship was without a doubt a great success. And in several ways did this EC manage to be good. The part of organizing was good, information, arena LIVE stream and all the work we not see at the day of the tournament. This year’s participation was also very good. Variety and number of countries / practitioners have rarely been better. Many struggle with the number of poor divisions, while WKO seems to increase. This also increases the standards of those participating in the tournament.

Søndag 19.April var det klart for jente og damesamling på Ringerike. Her samles man og utveksler erfaringer, trener og legger fokus etter det man ønsker. Dette lyder kjent, men man ivaretar jenter og dame utøvere i et til tider mannsdomminert Karatemiljø. Samlingene vokser og vokser, og det er ingen tvil om at den sosiale faktoren som det fokuseres på er treffende!

This year EC is history, and the results are ready. Many several interesting results is to see in this tournament, and some that is as we are used to see .. middleweight med, to world champions ended at third place! Valeri Dimitrov – once again: “EC champion of the world”Marius Ilas-what to say: “intelligent madness” how do you face it? 🙂
