But it is still some places left, and the upcoming European Championship in Denmark will be the place to look after the rest of the European fighters. Be ware of that in WKO one have to qualify to the World Championship in weight categories, this is a point to mention since many organizations do not have that. And this will explain why some nations are represented and some not. This also means that the level of fighters from fight one ill be at the best..

The level of the Russian fighters, their level is very good,and in Europe it is very interesting to follow – since they do not have them in the EC. Through this year there have been a number of championships and tournaments. Although some had a quieter year as a result of the World Championship last year in 2015, but most fighters held a massive press on the competition front.Whose performance is the strongest this year? It is almost impossible to crown, but we will take a look at some of the highlights – finals. Mainly we have picked EC, EC Open Weigh, All Japan Open in some different organizations and weight categories.

Ballerup Challenge Cup 2017
Ballerup Kyokushin Karate follows up the success from previous years and invites participants with none or limited fighting experience to the annual knockdown karate tournament. The tournament will take place on the 4th February 2017. The purpose of the tournament is to give inexperienced fighters an introduction and to experience with full contact karate. The tournament is open for all styles who want to try full contact karate kumite.

Oki Kodomo Open er et sant Kyokushin eventyr. Dette er turneringen som startet i det små i Banzai sine lokaler i 2008. Da staret dette som en klubbturering som skulle gi de yngste et trygt og utviklende tilbud. På den tiden ble turneringen kalt Oki Kodomo, senere utvidet dette seg til “Open” hvor andre klupper, organisasjoner og land kunne delta. turneringen dekker alderen 10-17 år….
