Swedish Open had this year two good categories with fighters from Poland, Lithuania, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland and of course Sweden. Sweden made a strong statement last Swedish Open by winning both of the women`s divisions. But what about this year? Both categories had more fighter than last time, and some of the profiles have been really successful lately. But even with more fighters, Sweden had fewer this time. And everyone could sense a challenge from the Eastern European countries: Lithuania and Poland..

Swedish Open report!
The 6th Swedish Open is history, and it gave us many memorable moments. Once again the Swedish organization pulled off a great event in all ways. Fighters and coaches are been taken really good care of, and can focus on the main task – fighting at the best level one can do. Swedish Open is a tournament that also give many a standard to see up to. The fighters of this years tournament are mainly from Sweden, Denmark and Norway – with some excellent visitors from the Eastern Europe: Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. Japanese team ready for The 6th World Championship 2017
Kazakhstan, Astana 2017, 1-2 July, The 6th World Championship weight categories will be held, and once again the best fighters from each region will fight to be the best in their weight class in the world. For the first time during the The World Championship weight categories (former known as the World Cup) it will be new weight categories, the same used in the European Championship, and of course in the The JFKO All Japan Weight Category Tournament.

Endring i knockoutforskriften?
Idretter med “Knock-out” til hodet er og har vært et helt eget tema i Norge. Den siste tid har det vært stor pågang fra Bokse Norge, og da aller mest fra NPBF, Norges Profesjonelle Bokse Forbund.Det var en milepæl ved sist “justering” når hjelmen forsvant, denne gangen er det videre endringer som gjør at man på generell basis vil nærme seg internasjonalt regelverk.
Fra NPBF har man etterlyst svar, og kultudepartemantet sender nå følgende forslag på høring…..
