The Diamond Cup 2018 delivered a fully packed tournament that makes it stand stronger than ever. For sure the Diamond Cup are known for top level fighting from many years – but one do have to notice that the concept grows, more and more people are included… and that together with the quality!
With fifteen nations spread across the podium, the result describes how the diversity in the tournament is – and this makes the interest increase even further!

NKO i Scottish Open 2018 – DRAWS
I dag 24. Februar stiller NKO med fire utøvere i Scottish Open. Scottish Open treffer godt på kalenderen med tanke på tidspunktet, og har med dette blitt et stevne flere har vurdert. Kvalitetsmessig har Scottish mye å gå på, og årets utgave er betydelig redusert fra fjorårets, men da ble heller ikke Diamond Cup i belgia arrangert på samme dag. Uansett NKO er på plass for å høste erfaringer og representere.
Dagens utøvere er fra Bergen kk og Egersund, Jeanette Johannessen, Bjørn Eirik Orstad, Therese Netland Østerbrød og Kristian Søyland.

European Shin Kyokushin Championships Seniors & Juniors 2018 (trailer)
About three month Poland will held the European Shinkyokushin Championship for seniors and juniors. Poland hosted the European Championship in 2015, and really showed a professional tournament – organizing as well as participating. Recently U22 European Championship was held 2017, also a great success, and looking to the future we know that the World Championship in weight categories will also be held in Poland.
But this year, 11 and 12th of May, the European Championship in Shinkyokushin will be held – and we are in for a sneak preview of things to come! Presented by two of the profiles: Agata Winiarska (Kaliciak) and Konrad Kozubowski.
The 1st International Fullcontact Karate Championship 2018
We have seen champions from several Fullcontact styles Karate battle for the top spots. Now as a natural extension, the rest of the world is added to the opportunity to participate also! The level will indisputably be the absolute top, and with the Japanese elite fighters from several organizations and styles are nothing less expected..
Gode prestasjoner i Stora Höga Open!
NKO hadde et solid lag på plass under året Stora Höga Open, som avholdes i Sverige hvert år. Turneringen er midt i blinken for nivå og utbytte med tanke på det man trenger i Norge. Med rett i underkant av 200 påmelde utøvere, og med et kampsystem som kombinerer cup og pool, er utbytte mildt sagt stort! De norske utøverene gikk 3 og fire kamper hver(!) Gg i tillegg til dette vanket det også forlengelser i kampene. Dvs at her fikk man mer kamptid på en dag, enn hva man gjør på et år i Norge. Stevnet er ypperlig som et ungdom/rekrutt stevne, men her tilbud for senior også, både i semi og fullkontakt. Bilder fra Færder web Continue reading
Frisk NKO start 2018
NKO starter det nye året veldig friskt, og allerede førstkommende helg er det solid deltagelse i Stora Höga Open i Sverige. 12-15 utøvere fra Region Øst stiller til start, godt fordelt utøver klassene. Turneringen har i overkant av 200 påmeldte, og kan tilby alle klasser. Fra barn til senior fullkontakt.

The new year will for sure start with a bang! The number of registered participants is now more than 220, and it will probably not stop there! It is also of great interest to see that practitioners from Ashihara Karate from several nations have joined. Among twenty countries have signed in, and many strong nations with their profiles are ready to top this years Diamond Cup! Europe are represented, so are Russia and Japan with more..!
