British Open 2016 increases its level this year, with Kazakhstan’s elite fighters. 
Russia have been the number one nation in British Open, and almost taken what they want regarding to trophies. Kazakhstan has been one of the nations that keep up with Russia – and then some! Recently Ilya Yakovlev to beat one of the top heavy weight fighters for the WFKO title to name one achievement…
He is clearly a fighter for the future. Although he is young, he has already met several of the world’s best fighters and gone the distance with them. He has all the qualities as a fighter needs. Good technical variety, strength and endurance. And also the ability to set up tactical moves that often ends in knock out. 6th place in the World Championship 2015, and Technical Award.
WKO Shinkyokushinkai do have some of the fines and skilled fighters that is. And from time to another we do get a really high profiled meeting at the tatemi. We have set up four fighters that all together have captured: 4 World Championship titles, and five World Cup titles!! The angle we used this time was Valeri Dimitrov vs World Champions:

Looking back at one of the All Japan Open classics, The 25th All Japan Open , 1993. The line up was packed with fighters at the top of the level, and to day we can say the many of them are legendary. See Kyokushin icons as Kenji Yamaki, Hajime Kazumi, Hiroki Kurosawa, Yasuhiro Shinchinohe, Kunihiro Suzuki, Toru Okamoto fight in this classic All Japan Open, who could known that many of them would be World Champions later!

Many of us spend much time around the various Kyokushin sites. It’s probably the case with most of us, that we get some favorite sites to visit. That we seek the same pages is of course because this gives us something. For many it is to obtain information about various events, such as tournaments, seminars and other news in Kyokushin world. But it is probably also something more that draws us to the same pages over and over again – several times a day .. the good feeling it gives of reading, see what’s new since the last time.
