Store Höga Kyokushin Karateklubb avholder hvert år en stor turnering rett på nyåret. Denne tureningen har vokst hvert år, og er per i dag en av de, om ikke den største i Sverige med over 200 deltagere. Noen av disse er fra Norge, NKO Region Øst. Jubilanten Horten Karateklubb og Færder Karaklubb hadde til sammen hele 15 utøvere i år!

Many of us spend much time around the various Kyokushin sites. It’s probably the case with most of us, that we get some favorite sites to visit. That we seek the same pages is of course because this gives us something. For many it is to obtain information about various events, such as tournaments, seminars and other news in Kyokushin world. But it is probably also something more that draws us to the same pages over and over again – several times a day .. the good feeling it gives of reading, see what’s new since the last time.
40th British Open 2016
October the 1st, The 40th British Open will be held in Crawley, UK. The tournament has been organizes since 1976, and “always been there” This has been an arena where everybody meets, and one of the fundamental activity for the IFK to reach out to others in the Kyokushin World. In 40th years the British Open have only been canceled two times, 2005 – 3rd World Championship was held, and in 2007 when the venue was declared unsafe.

KWU-Doping results – Time to be clean
KWU, published the doping results from the World Championship held in Russia October 3-4. 2015. The result is now well known, and discussions around this is going on across the whole Kyokushin world. Six athletes lost their trophy as a result of the doping test. But we also fear that behind this results others also could be using illegal substances. That said, we do have to remember a important thing: an athlete is innocent – until proven otherwise. Many also think to make Kyokushin a modern sport, we will face even bigger challenges in the same direction that this results have pointed out.

Polish Team ready for EC 2016
Sunday January 18 in Polish Championships Shinkyokushin were held . The tournament had two categories – seniors and juniors. The championships were also qualifying tournament for this year’s European Championships, which will take place on 13-14 May 2016 in Georgia,Tbilisi. The results of the tournament and EC team, juniors and seniors (chosen through the tournament and ranking)..

Dan gradering i region Øst
Det tar tid mellom hver gang det er Dan graderinger i Region Øst. Og det er ikke til å stikke under en stol at det er som regel godt voksne som står for mesteparten av forsøkene. 16, Januar var det gjort klart til Shodan og Ni Dan gradering på Ringerike. Som senorer: Ole Grejs og Erik A Helin Sensei`s – leder av faglig råd, og medlemmer av den nasjonale graderingskomitè.

Once again The Kyokushin Open Norway will be held as the most traditional tournament in Norway. The 2015 edition gathered fighters from Poland, Sweden and Norway. The tournament attract fighters one their way up, and slowly building up as an international tournament. The tournament do to the Norwegian rules accept fighting in the women division whit out shin protections.
