This weekend some well known Danish profiles tried to reach higher grades, and looking at some year since the last time some of them experienced a belt grading – about time many can many say. Well we can only assume that for an example that Brian Jakobsen and Benno Rasmussen made it through the fight session..hm 😉

EC Open Weight 2016 – Bulgaria!
Less than one week left to the Open-weight European Championship Shinkyokushin in Bulgaria. As the most of you know, U-22 Youth and U-16 Cadets will also fight in their categories as well. But the big question is: who will be this years Open-weight champion in a line up that has never been harder!

For a little while ago we could read that Russia was signed at the European Championships in open weight. This raised some unanswered questions, since Russia has not been included in the European region. What drew even more attention was that four of the six participants did not belong WKO. Bergen markerer seg i Polen!
Lørdag 5. November stilte Bergen Karateklubb i Polen,Szczecin på Kyokushin Challenge. Dette var den 6. utgaven, og som man vet i Polen er Kyokushin stort. 340 deltagere fra 21 klubber er fort 3xNM – i alle aldere naturlig nok, men alikevel imponerende!
Bergen Karateklubb stilte med et sterkt lag pluss apparat, for å høste kunskap og erfaringer, samt å holde den gode relasjon ved like til Sensei Radoslaw har over flere år deltatt med utøvere, fra klubben sin Husaria fra Polen, på Kyokushin Open i Bergen.

Prestigious Kokoro Cup is back! After being canceled in 2015, is now kokoro Cup in Poland back. A high-quality tournament professional setting and top athletes who meet on the mat. The strongest nations world wide entered the tournament in 2014, Lithuania, Japan, Kazakhstan, Hungary and of course Poland.. and fighter as Ilya Yakovlev, Justinas Kvietka, Antanas Klibavicius, Ikuya Kawabata was among top 4 – to name some of the top level fighters..

Finnsnes Camp 2016
Denne helgen 4-6. November ble det avholdt Høstleir på Finnsnes. Dette var tredje år på rad som man avholdt leiren, og det er alt satt at den blir i 2017 også – regulert etter NNM Nord Norskt Mesterskap. Leiren hadde deltagere fra Tromsø, Ringerike og Finnsnes, og selv om det er et visst fokus på kamp, så inneholder leiren varierte økter med annen type trening også. “Taco – økta” i år kan man trygt si var en av den typen.

German Winter-camp 2017
For the 13th time the German Winter camp will be held in 2017, and once again the Camp can offer a top star of the Shinkyokushin family – reign World Champion Szepesi Csenge, Hungary. Winning the European Championship the last four times – and recently going through the 40th British Open heavyweight, winning the tournament in a convincing way.
Keep the calendar open for this camp in 2017, The Camp will be held on the first weekend of February.
