2021 are history, tournaments held and champions crowned. Looking back trough the year we have many good fights and tournaments, mainly European Championships, All Japan Opens and that category – not many Open nationals. We take a look into the men’s division!

Som mange har etterspurt: VM for kvinner fra 1996! Elisabeth Jakobsen: vant VM + x2 EM champion m.m! Gunnhild Moen 2. plass i samme VM, etter mange tøffe kamper. Ledet av vår aller beste gjennom tidene: Kjetil Vigre. Dette var det 1.VM for kvinner, og ansees per i dag som et av de aller sterkeste.

Kembu Iriki pulls trough a very tough All Japan Open – Iriki been top three six times, in the last seven All Japan Open’s. Includes winning the 48th & 52nd edition – as he now does in the 53rd edition. Chihiro Kubota defend her tittle from the 52nd, and a raising star comes into the final in Suzuki Mihiro. Two major victories was pulled of this weekend, 1. To face the challenge, organizing a tournament with the covid-19 and AND to manage to gather so many different fighters from different schools.
