NKO i 1st EFKO EM
Som om vi ikke har nok EM i Kyokushin, så arrangerte man i The 1st European Fullcontact karate Organisation EM i Belgia i Januar 2020. Dette er et åpent EM hvor alt av fullkontakt kan delta, uavhengig av org og stil. Hos mange organisasjoner er det åpent fra før, dette er fordi man har knappes folk nok til å avholde EM – men i dette tilfelle var det et godt besøkt EM – noe som gjør at plasseringer har status, i motsetning til at man blir tildelt en meterhøy pokal for oppmøte. 24 nasjoner – EM og VM mestere å finne i “alle klasser”.

Improving her her result from 2017 when she came in on 3rd place. 2017 was a very noticeable year, reaching the final in the 6th World Championship weight categories WKO. The only non Japanese entering the podium. A real statement knocking down 3 time All Japan Champion Kikukawa in the semifinal and entering the upper level of lightweight fighters of the world.

Brigita Gustaitytė, Lithuania. The 7th World Champion in weight categories 2022. Winner of many Open tournaments as Swedish Open, Caucasus Open,Memorial Branko Bošnjak and more – and almost always reaching the podium, Shin European Championship podium as well. 2nd in the EC 2019/21. Later in 2019 she went all the way in the KWU World Championship, and became the world champion. Earlier in KWU she also made it to the final inn 2015 – and became the vice champion in the 2nd KWU World Championship. EFKO champion 2020
Precious metal for Shin-fighters
During the 4th edition of the KWU World Championship last weekend several WKO fighters attended – and challenged the top elite of KWU fighters – and in some cases not only challenge, but going all the way and winning the category. In this rapport we will focus on the WKO fighters, and how they came out in the KWU tournament.
NKO – Trener i Japan
NKO har i de siste år hatt jevnlig trening i Japan. Jevnlig i den forstand at man er der 2-3 uker årlig å trener på normal basis i Dojo som er ønsket. Denne høsten var det VM som de fleste kjenner, da er det også muligheter for å trene. Horten, Oslo og Ringerike hadde satt opp litt tøffere program enn hva de fleste tenker når det kommer til “ferie”

Closing in to the greatest event,keeping the full contact Karate tradition alive: A World Tournament in Open Weight – the excitement raises and the expectations have never been higher. It would be hard to tell how such a great championship will turn out – but we will at least take a little closer look at the fighters, the draw and maybe also get to “know” some new fighters as well.. Men D block. Remember: it is only speculation – based on previous records and fight.. We appreciate and warmly welcome when fighters disprove our speculation 🙂
