Kyokushin Open Norway results & report

Once again, one of the northernmost Full Contact tournaments was held – Bergen, Norway. The event is top class from the organizer, and for almost twenty years the Bergen Karate Club has served this yearly. This year’s event brought together athletes from Poland, Sweden and the whole of Norway.

Kyokushin Open Norway 2019 – Results

Saturday 16th February, the Kyokushin Open Norway was held in Bergen. The tournament runs smoothly – as always, the well drilled crew from Bergen Karate Club – 50 years anniversary of the year (!) Kyokushin Open could this year give us fighters from Sweden, Italy and Poland – and of course Noway. Denmark was for a while in the tournament as well, but pulled due to the lack fighters in the given category. Kyokushin Open Norway – all in!

This Saturday, 14th April, the Kyokushin Open Norway was held. The expectations was growing after strong nations as Lithuania, Sweden and Italy made their entry. The tournament made a significant lift from previous years, and during the day we could see strong international Full Contact fighting, which contains all that one wants a tournament to have! Lithuanian was expected to reach top possessions, but Sweden and Italy had some other plans..
